I've grown veg for years but always thought flowers were too fiddly. The Cut Flower Club proved me wrong. It turns out flowers aren't any harder than veg. You're never too old to try something new!

A bit more about me
I've spent most of my working life helping people grow - from my early days as a nanny and teacher to years spent as Head of HR, guiding people through change.
But after losing my sister, going through the menopause, and being made redundant after 14 years in the same company, I found myself feeling lost and deeply sad.
It was in my greenhouse, with a packet of seeds and some compost, that I started to feel grounded again. More myself.
Since then, I've turned my garden into a productive flower patch - not just in June like before, but right across the seasons. I read and watched everything I could. And now I share everything I've learned with others.
This is the next chapter of my life, and I'd love you to be part of it.

Still have questions?
The club welcomes growers at every stage. If you're completely new to gardening, this will be right for you. Everything is explained clearly and simply, and you won't feel out of your depth for long.
If you've been gardening for years, growing vegetables, or you have an allotment, you might be surprised. Growing cut flowers from seed has its own rhythms, timings, and techniques, and most experienced gardeners find there's plenty to learn.
The structure and the community tend to be just as valuable to seasoned growers as to beginners - sometimes more so, because you know enough to ask the right questions.
Each month, everyone in the club grows the same flowers at the same time. At the start of the month you'll receive a newsletter outlining what we're growing, giving you time to get your seeds ready - either from your delivery if you're a UK member, or sourced locally if you're joining without seed delivery.
We then sow together in a live monthly session, so you're never guessing what to do or when.
You'll have access to The Flower Shed for clear, bite-sized sowing and growing guidance, plus our private community where you can ask questions and get support between sessions.
Absolutely you can. Due to EU and international regulations on sending plant material across borders, seed delivery isn't something we're able to offer outside the UK.
However, the membership without seed delivery membership is open to growers everywhere. You'll have full access to the monthly live sessions, The Flower Shed, the community, and all the guidance.
At the start of each month the newsletter will tell you exactly what we're growing so you have time to source your seeds locally before we sow together.
Membership is £25 a month with seed delivery (UK members only) or £22 a month without seed delivery. Both are month by month with no annual commitment. Cancel any time.
Your first payment is taken when you join. Your membership then renews on the 1st of each month. You can cancel any time before the 25th to avoid being charged for the following month.
You can cancel at any time. Just email cancellations@thecutflower.club before the 25th of the month to avoid being charged for the following month.
The Flower Shed is an online area just for members.
It’s where you’ll find clear, step-by-step videos, monthly sowing plans, and practical guidance for the flowers we’re growing, all laid out so you can dip in, catch up, or check something quickly.
It’s also where our private community lives, so you can ask questions in between monthly lives, share progress, and get reassurance from people growing alongside you.
No problem! The Cut Flower Club is perfect for all spaces, whether you have a large garden, a small patio, or just a few pots. Many of our members successfully grow beautiful flowers in containers or raised beds. We provide guidance tailored to your space, so you can enjoy growing whatever the size of space you have!
Absolutely you can. Gardening in pots and containers is an excellent option for those with limited space or who want to create a versatile and manageable cut flower garden. Plants may not get quite as big, but this might be just as well because some can grow very tall!
No, you don’t need a greenhouse to enjoy sowing and growing cut flowers. But you do need somewhere sheltered in your garden to protect your seedlings from the elements, especially over winter. This could be a plastic 'zippy' (although buy with caution!), coldframe or even clear plastic boxes do the job perfectly too!
Not at all. This course is aimed at the new and intermediate gardeners. So even if you have been gardening for some years, if you are looking to gain more knowledge specifically around how to sow and grow cut flowers, this is still for you!
This membership is designed for home gardeners who want to grow cut flowers for their own enjoyment, to fill their homes, and to share with others.
While you'll learn plenty about growing, succession planting, and keeping flowers blooming all year long, it’s not a commercial flower farming course.
If you're looking for guidance on selling flowers, scaling up production, or running a flower business, this might not be the best fit. However, I can recommend a great alternative! Just drop me an email at bridget@thecutflower.club and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
